Ebonus
An exhibition identity exploring digital isolation and human connection
Ebonus explores how screens shape identity, perception and human relationships. The visual system combines a distorted figure with intense colour and contrasting typography. Together, these elements create a world suspended between physical presence and digital experience.

Building a visual world between reality and simulation
The identity begins with a human figure that feels both physical and artificial. Its dark surface reflects green, blue and violet light, while the red background creates urgency and contrast. Meanwhile, the combination of bold sans serif and expressive italic typography adds tension to the system.
Giving the identity a moving structure
Motion adds rhythm and depth to the central visual idea. Modular grids divide the image into fragments, while masks reveal each element in stages. Small distortions reinforce the digital atmosphere, but the final composition remains clear and controlled.
Giving the identity a moving structure
The identity continues through large screens, projections and spatial applications. Moving images reshape the gallery, while coloured light creates depth across the surrounding surfaces. As visitors move through the space, they become part of the changing visual experience.
Bringing the exhibition into public space
The campaign takes the identity beyond the gallery and places it within everyday urban movement. Posters use intense colour, direct messages and recognisable fragments from the main image to attract attention from a distance. The system adapts across streets, transport spaces and digital displays without losing its visual character. As a result, the exhibition gains a strong and consistent public presence across different parts of the city.
Connecting every stage of the visitor journey
The identity guides visitors before they arrive and continues throughout the exhibition experience. The mobile platform introduces the central theme, while tickets and programmes provide essential information. Printed and digital materials use the same imagery, colour and typography to create a connected journey.
Continuing the conversation online
The social campaign turns the exhibition theme into a series of short reflections on identity and digital behaviour. Each message uses a different crop from the key visual, which creates variation without losing consistency. The restrained layouts also keep the written content clear and direct.
Extending the identity into everyday objects
Selected objects carry the visual language beyond the exhibition space. The lanyard transforms the key visual into a repeating pattern, while the tote bag uses typography as its main message. These applications remain practical, simple and clearly connected to the wider identity.
A visual experience between connection and isolation
Ebonus brings identity, motion, communication and space into one connected system. Every application supports the same tension between digital connection and emotional distance. The result is an immersive identity that remains bold, recognisable and controlled across every touchpoint.
